To transform your life into a happy one, you need courage.
Genuine happiness is found in courgae.
Courgae is the gateway to happiness.

Rosa Parks, the mother of the civil rights movement, found the courage to speak out because she belived she was right.
Courage always springs from what is right, from justice.

The person who has the courage to say what needs to be said, no matter what the circumstances, and to take action when action is called for will definitely attain Buddhahood.

要徹底維護同志
大聖人曾重複的教導”人的心堅強的話,諸天善神的維護必定是強”的法理。
重要的是,為廣布而活的「強盛一念」。諸天絕對維護那個人。
不要給邪惡的勢力乘虛而入。
為此,必須要有實際的「行動」和「祈求」。
「絕對要維護師弟的大城的學會!」

「御本尊的功德是難以用言語來盡說.但是,信心不可以弱。只是有祈求但沒行動的刁滑的信心,祈求是絕不會實現的」
首先是祈求.然後是奮勇的踏出一步。必定能開拓充滿「福智」的未來。
戶田先生期待著「後繼的弟子」。
講述「能以朝氣蓬勃的心和境涯來渡過一生的人是最偉大的」
青年正是下一代的財寶。世界在期待青年的成長。

「御本尊の功徳は、決して言葉では言い尽くせない。しかし、信心が弱くてはいけない。願うだけで行動がないといったような横着な信心では、決して願いはかなわない」
まず祈る。そして勇んで一歩を踏み出すことだ。必ずや、「福智」あふれる未来が開ける。
戸田先生は「後継の弟子」に期待された。
「若々しい生命、若々しい境涯で一生を送れる人は、もっとも偉大である」と語られていた。
青年こそ次代の宝である。青年の成長を、世界が待っている。
青年部の諸君！一切をよそしく頼む！

People tend to grow fearful when they taste failure, face a daunting challenge or fall ill. Yet that is precisely the time to become even bolder.
Those who are victors at heart are the greatest of all champions.

To move forward resolutely regardless of what lies in store--that is the spirit, the resolve, that leads to human victory.

The cause of peace will be advanced by brave people armed with the spirit of independence who voluntarily strive to fulfill the vow they made.
Because they struggle on their own volition, they have no complaints or grievances.

The courage to fight for truth and justice embodies great good, and those who possess such courage are praiseworthy above all.

To follow the dream in your heart and fulfill your mission requires true courage.

The true Buddhist spirit is to take courageous action for the betterment of society.

Inazo Nitobe, the respected Japanese educator and diplomat said, "Faith is courage as courage is faith. Cheerfulness marks a great soul...In the heat of battles which would fret the mediocre, a great soul keeps up cheer."

Courage is one of the most important things in life.
Courage also lies at the core of the writing of Nichiren, who declares, "Nichiren's disciples cannot accomplish anything if they are cowardly."

As the inner state of Buddhahood is strngthened, we also develop a fortitude that enables us to ride even the wildest stroms. If we are enlightened to the true, unchanging nature of life, we can joyfully surf the waves of difficult that wash against us in life, creating something of value out of any situation.
In this way our "true self" blossoms, and we find vast reserves of courage, compassion, wisdom and energy or life force inside us. We find ourselves becoming more active and feeling deep inner freedom.

This rich fountain of the spirit I call the poetic heart
the poetic heart that is the source of all human creativity and power of imagination
It fashions the dreams and daring and hopes of this earth creates harmony and concord
It possesses a force no person whosoever can defy
It transforms the wasteland within us into a fertile plain
Great poems trenchantly capture the truth of that human life force
that blends with and beats in rhythm with nature and the universe
They overflow with compassion and feeling for all beings
They rouse and call forth the poetic heart in others
They bring out the flower and fragrance in human nature
This I believe: restitution of the poetic heart means nothing less than transforming the coming age into the century of the human being!

The life of a person who shrinks before oppression and tries to get by with cunning strategies and falsehood is extremely pitiful.
Such a life is self-defeating.
Rather, by fighting against and pushing through all the evil that oppresses one, both internally and externally, one establishes a magnanimous self and a profound and happy state of life.
This is the purpose of faith.

Though evils may be numerous, they cannot prevail over a single great truth, just as many raging fires are quenched by a single shower of rain. This principle also hold true with Nichiren and his followers.--Nichiren
